We've been working away at the boat over the winter but haven't had much to show so far.  Over the next several weeks, we'll be laminating two layers of .100" veneer over the carlings.

We ran 6" strips of 1/8" marine grade plywood through the planer to produce .100" veneer. (23-MAR-2009)

Another custom clamp was fabricated to smooth out the radius.

Click to enlarge. We encapsulated the inside dash surface with one layer of two ounce mat followed up with one layer of 6 ounce fiberglass cloth.  This will prevent the exposed plywood surface from checking with exposure to the elements.  (04-MAY-2009)
