One of the first things I did was to source an engine, so that I could set up my frames
with confidence. I found a gentleman selling a recently-rebuilt ChrisCraft 283 cubic inch V8.

The engine has a Paragon transmission. Ratio is 1:1.

The gentleman recovered two engines from a cabin cruiser that had been damaged beyond repair. He
rebuilt the engines together. He kept the right-hand rotation engine and sold me the left-hand
rotation unit.

This is what he did with the starboard engine. He took me for a ride to show me how "the twin" performed.
